Story and Song: Six Hymns that Shaped the Family of Christ

Every family has its favorite songs. Jesus’ family is no different, and the songs we sing together have shaped us as a church. This summer we want to spend time opening the family scrapbook, and rejoicing in the truths behind some favorite hymns. These songs are a part of our inheritance, and one day we will pass them on to our children. As we learn their stories, and the stories of those who first sung them, we hope to grow in love for the Triune God whose praises they sound.
