We are seeking someone to serve a few hours each week in our nursery, a small role that carries a big weight in the life of our church. This ministry supports young families by providing a safe and nurturing space for our children and allowing parents to attend worship services, bible studies, and events. If you, or someone you know within our congregation, would be interested in serving in this way, we would be grateful to hear from you. Find out more and apply below.

We’re seeking a faithful, experienced, and detail-oriented individual to serve as Administrative Assistant to the Executive Minister and Discipleship Ministry at First Presbyterian Church. This vital role provides high-level administrative and organizational support in close partnership with the Executive Minister, helping strengthen the operational and ministry functions of the church. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, discretion, and a servant-hearted spirit to manage communication, scheduling, and coordination across many areas of church life. With questions, contact Rebekah Dawson at rebekahd@fpcjackson.org.

We’re seeking a Part-Time Director of Local Outreach to help lead and strengthen our local missions, evangelism, and mercy ministry efforts. This relational, community-facing role will focus on mobilizing our congregation for evangelism, gospel-centered service, building partnerships with local ministries, and creating meaningful opportunities to serve our community. Working alongside church leadership and ministry partners, this individual will help expand the church’s outreach presence and encourage deeper congregational engagement. If you have a heart for ministry, relationship-building, and community impact, we would love to hear from you.
