Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups are our churches main Small Group Bible Studies. We know that many people can walk into a big church and feel lost. Real Christian relationships deepen while brothers and sisters grow together around an open Bible. Small groups are where we can truly know and be known by others, as God’s Word shapes our fellowship and prayer. If you are new to D Groups, we would love to help you join in! Sign up below

The Love of God
Midweek Elective

What does it really mean when the Bible says, “God is love”? This fall, David Strain, our Senior Pastor, and David Irving, President of RTS Jackson, will lead us through one of Scripture’s richest and most comforting themes. Together we’ll explore how God’s love is revealed in his very nature, displayed in creation and redemption, and experienced in the daily life of the believer. The love of God is an ocean without bottom or shore—we never come to the end of its depths. Come and grow with us in the knowledge and enjoyment of the God who is love. Beginning Wednesday, August 26, at 6:00 p.m. in Miller Hall.

Evangelism Training

Learn to use God’s word in a conversation while you clearly communicate the gospel. Beginning Wednesday, August 26, we will meet during Midweek, at 6 p.m., in Westminster Hall 304B. Jesus said, “Follow me!” Join us on Wednesday nights.

Prayer Meeting & Bible Study

Join this group in the vital practice of praying together for our church body and its ministries, our community, and our mission. Join us in the Session Room.

College Midweek

College students, join us for dinner 5-6 p.m. and a small group gathering at 6 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Midweek Dinner is free for any college student involved in one of our Midweek programs. Any other college student can eat for $4.

Children’s Choirs

Children four years through fifth grade are invited to sing in children’s choir. Join us for weekly rehearsal during Midweek, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Our choristers of all ages learn musicianship, the scripture and theology in our songs, and sing occasionally for Sunday evening services. Register below. With questions, contact KSumrall86@gmail.com.

Rise: Sixth Grade Fellowship

Sixth grade is a transitional year here at FPC as our children prepare to graduate from the Children’s Ministry and rise to the Student Ministry. On Wednesdays August-April, our sixth graders have a special Bible study and hang out, meeting on the playground at 5:30 and Study Center 211 at 6 p.m. (They are invited to join the Student Choir which meets on Sunday afternoons.)

Midweek with FPCYM

Our Student Ministry Midweek programs meet in the Youth House as well as the Baird Center Gym for Bible study and hang out time.
