Communicant Class

Parents, our class for children who are considering becoming communing members of our church begins Sunday, January 25 at 4:45 p.m. in Miller Hall, with a fellowship meal following each class. If your child is planning to attend and you have not registered, please contact Kimberly Wilkins at kimberlyw@fpcjackson.org or 601-353-8316.

The Communicant Class is for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades who are interested in learning more about church membership and the Christian faith. Taught by a pastor, the class walks through the five questions of church membership and helps students think carefully about faith, discipleship, and life in the church. All middle school students are encouraged to attend whether or not they intend to pursue membership at this time. Nursery and childcare are available upon request for younger siblings.
