Mom and Baby Space

KidCheck

We utilize KidCheck for check-in in the nursery. We offer on-site and mobile check in. The kiosks are located in the hallway just outside the door entering the nursery. If you haven’t already created your free account, please do so by going to go.kidcheck.com and selecting “Create Your KidCheck Account”. Or download the KidCheck Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play Store to create, manage, and update your account right on your mobile device.

Food

While many church nursery stays do not require a snack, if needed, FPC will provide snacks for all our children. Please do not send any snacks with your child without approval from the Nursery Staff. We are a nut free nursery, and nuts, peanuts, or any products containing nuts or peanuts are not allowed. Thank you for being mindful of the needs of all children and parents in the nursery by adhering to this policy.

Safety

We want to provide a safe, secure, clean, and nurturing environment for children age three and under. To that end, we sanitize all toys, bedding, and equipment after each use. Our nursery workers have completed CPR and Ministry Safe training. You can have great confidence in their ability and willingness to care for your child well. Once you have checked in with KidCheck, we ask that you remain outside the door of your child’s room until a nursery worker can receive your child for safety, security, as well as for parent/child separation issues.

Baptism

Baptism is the sign of our entry into God’s family, the church. It does not give us salvation, but is a sign of the Holy Spirit’s work in us. As such, it is rightly applied to the children of believers as members of the family of believers.

Baptism services are scheduled for the third Sunday in January, March, May, July, September, and November at both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services. For more information or to make your reservation, please email Emily Eastman at emilye@fpcjackson.org or call 769-572-3535.
