DESCRIPTION:Parents\, our class for children who are considering becoming communing members of our church begins Sunday\, January 25 at 4:45 p.m. in Miller Hall\, with a fellowship meal following each class. If your child is planning to attend and you have not registered\, please contact Kimberly Wilkins at kimberlyw@fpcjackson.org or 601-353-8316. \nThe Communicant Class is for students in 6th\, 7th\, and 8th grades who are interested in learning more about church membership and the Christian faith. Taught by a pastor\, the class walks through the five questions of church membership and helps students think carefully about faith\, discipleship\, and life in the church. All middle school students are encouraged to attend whether or not they intend to pursue membership at this time. Nursery and childcare are available upon request for younger siblings.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 21\n5-6:15 p.m.\nSanctuary\nNursery available for children age 3 and younger \nThe Missions Conference will open with a new event this year\, featuring keynote speaker\, Kevin DeYoung. Dr. DeYoung will preach on Lord of the Nations (Genesis 10)\, helping us see how God’s authority\, promises\, and redemptive purposes extend to every people group. \nOften called the “Table of Nations\,” this chapter reminds us that the diversity of peoples and places is not an accident of history but part of God’s sovereign design. Long before the call of Abraham or the sending of the apostles\, Scripture shows us a God who rules over every nation and who is steadily unfolding His plan among them. \nAll are invited to gather for worship\, reflection\, and the kickoff of this year’s conference\, as we consider how God is advancing His kingdom and how He may be calling each of us to participate in His work among the nations. \nFind out more information about the Missions Conference here.
