Both letters encourage Christians who are suffering for their faith in all places and all times\, showing us how to live out our redemption in a hostile world. Although salvation may involve suffering\, the gospel brings hope also as the grace of God is amplified in our lives. \nJoining a Circle is a wonderful way to get involved in the life of the church and make a big church feel like family. Circles are groups of women who meet monthly (September–May) for Bible study\, prayer\, fellowship\, and to learn of opportunities for service and missions within our church. DESCRIPTION:Like to sew or want to learn? “Sew and Sow” meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 in Westminster Hall 302 at the church for fun\, sewing and service through the use of our God-granted sewing skills. We are open to all ladies who enjoy sewing or needlework. Recent and current projects include medical masks during Covid-19\, cradle roll blankets for our newborns\, Christmas stockings for the NICU units at Baptist Hospital \, wheel chair bags for Methodist Rehabilitation and pillow cases for Ruth’s Refuge”. A sewing camp is offered in the summer months on even years. Some of our Tuesdays are spent on personal projects or those projects you may need help with. In an age that teaches us to be suspicious of obligation\, however\, the Bible’s pictures of church reveal something refreshing and counter-cultural: commitment is beautiful. \nJoin us as we hear from Rupert Hunt Taylor\, Minister of Discipleship\, on this timely topic\, Tuesday\, March 24\, 6-8 p.m. in Miller Hall. We are open to all ladies who enjoy sewing or needlework. Recent and current projects include medical masks during Covid-19\, cradle roll blankets for our newborns\, Christmas stockings for the NICU units at Baptist Hospital \, wheel chair bags for Methodist Rehabilitation and pillow cases for Ruth’s Refuge”. A sewing camp is offered in the summer months on even years. Some of our Tuesdays are spent on personal projects or those projects you may need help with. Both letters encourage Christians who are suffering for their faith in all places and all times\, showing us how to live out our redemption in a hostile world. Although salvation may involve suffering\, the gospel brings hope also as the grace of God is amplified in our lives. \nJoining a Circle is a wonderful way to get involved in the life of the church and make a big church feel like family. Circles are groups of women who meet monthly (September–May) for Bible study\, prayer\, fellowship\, and to learn of opportunities for service and missions within our church.
