SUMMARY:Children's Sunday School
DESCRIPTION:Staffed by members of the congregation of First Presbyterian Church\, the Sunday school hour is by design an instrument to assist parents in the Christian nurture of their children\, the covenant children of the church. The Sunday school hour is from 9:45-10:40 a.m. \nMemory work (Scripture and Catechism) is encouraged in each class beginning in the three-year-old department. Children ages 3 through the third grade learn the Children’s Catechism (First Catechism: Teaching Children Bible Truths). Children in grades 4-6 study and learn The Westminster Shorter Catechism. \nThere are Sunday school classes for each grade\, beginning with pre-school through sixth grade. There is also the Special Friends Class for those with Special Needs. \nFor those new to Sunday School at FPC\, please complete the enrollment form to be added to one of our children’s Sunday School classes.

DESCRIPTION:At Vacation Bible School this year\, our students are discovering how to be A PART OF GOD’S ROYAL FAMILY. This week is full of singing\, crafts\, fun games\, and silliness\, but most importantly it is a week in which our children are fully immersed into God’s Word! This year our focus is on what it means to be adopted into God’s family through Jesus Christ\, the joy of living as His beloved children\, and how God grows His family (the Church!). God is the One who adopts into His royal family\, and He freely makes us His children. Belonging to God’s royal family represents a change from strangers and slaves to sons and daughters by His free grace alone. Each day\, we will study a different aspect of being a part of God’s royal family. \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nChildren (Age 5 – 6th Grade)\nNursery (Age 4 and Younger)\nTeen Helpers (7th-12 Grades)\nAdult Volunteers\nVBS Offering – Harbor Day School\n\n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to see your children at Vacation Bible School this year! Where children with special needs receive tuition-free\, Christ-centered early intervention services including physical\, occupational\, and speech therapies as well as individualized educational programming.
