DESCRIPTION:At Vacation Bible School this year\, our students are discovering how to be A PART OF GOD’S ROYAL FAMILY. This week is full of singing\, crafts\, fun games\, and silliness\, but most importantly it is a week in which our children are fully immersed into God’s Word! This year our focus is on what it means to be adopted into God’s family through Jesus Christ\, the joy of living as His beloved children\, and how God grows His family (the Church!). God is the One who adopts into His royal family\, and He freely makes us His children. Belonging to God’s royal family represents a change from strangers and slaves to sons and daughters by His free grace alone. Each day\, we will study a different aspect of being a part of God’s royal family. \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nChildren (Age 5 – 6th Grade)\nNursery (Age 4 and Younger)\nTeen Helpers (7th-12 Grades)\nAdult Volunteers\nVBS Offering – Harbor Day School\n\n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to see your children at Vacation Bible School this year! VBS is open to all children age 5 (by September 1\, 2026) through sixth grade. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\n\nDaily Bible Lessons\n\n\n\nDaily Bible Memorization\n\n\n\nGather Together Time – music and drama!\n\n\n\nSnack Time\n\n\n\nCrafts\n\n\n\nRecreation & Games\n\n\n\nMusic\n\n\n\nFree T-shirts (Our VBS T Shirts are FREE for children participants.  Complete your registration by May 4 to let us know you’re coming and to guarantee a t-shirt.)\n\n\n\n\nNote for parents: If your child’s clothes need to be protected from paint and other craft mishaps\, please bring an old t-shirt to VBS on Monday. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe offer childcare for the children and grandchildren of our VBS volunteers age 4 and under. We need craft leaders to get creative with our children\, recreation leaders who play fun games and outdoor activities\, musicians to lead our children in worship through song\, and more! This is completely optional for those who would like a t-shirt. \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach year our children bring an offering during the week of VBS\, and they love getting to be a part of what God is doing here in Jackson and around state by bringing their own money to contribute. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year\, our offering will benefit the Harbor Day School (formerly Little Light House). \n\n\n\n\n\nHarbor Day School is where the waves grow quiet. Where children with special needs receive tuition-free\, Christ-centered early intervention services including physical\, occupational\, and speech therapies as well as individualized educational programming. DESCRIPTION:Like to sew or want to learn? “Sew and Sow” meets on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 in Westminster Hall 302 at the church for fun\, sewing and service through the use of our God-granted sewing skills. We are open to all ladies who enjoy sewing or needlework. Recent and current projects include medical masks during Covid-19\, cradle roll blankets for our newborns\, Christmas stockings for the NICU units at Baptist Hospital \, wheel chair bags for Methodist Rehabilitation and pillow cases for Ruth’s Refuge”. A sewing camp is offered in the summer months on even years. Some of our Tuesdays are spent on personal projects or those projects you may need help with. SUMMARY:French Camp Quilters
DESCRIPTION:This group of ladies meets at the church on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. (you do not have to stay for the full 3 hrs.) This ministry is open to all ladies who enjoy quilting and for those who would like to learn! Each year\, the quilts that are completed are auctioned at French Camp’s Harvest Festival in October. All the proceeds from the quilts go directly to French Camp.
