SUMMARY:Circle Bible Studies | FIRST & SECOND PETER: A Living Hope in a Hard World
DESCRIPTION:Graphic\, Notebook Cover\, Bookmarks FIRST & SECOND PETER: A Living Hope in a Hard World\nOriginally written to Gentile Christians living in the northern provinces of Asia Minor (or modern-day Turkey) who were beginning to suffer persecution for their faith\, Peter’s letters instruct believers about living as Christians in a society that is hostile to their values and lifestyle. Both letters encourage Christians who are suffering for their faith in all places and all times\, showing us how to live out our redemption in a hostile world. Although salvation may involve suffering\, the gospel brings hope also as the grace of God is amplified in our lives. \nJoining a Circle is a wonderful way to get involved in the life of the church and make a big church feel like family. Circles are groups of women who meet monthly (September–May) for Bible study\, prayer\, fellowship\, and to learn of opportunities for service and missions within our church. To register\, contact Lisa Oswalt at 769-333-5802 or lisao@fpcjackson.org.

SUMMARY:Caregivers Support Group
DESCRIPTION:The Caregivers’ Support Group takes place every second Monday of the month in Westminster Hall 202B from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. The purpose of our Caregivers’ Ministry is to gather similarly situated caregivers who desire to learn\, share stories\, and grieve as we walk together through the valley of a loved one’s suffering with dementia and dementia-related illness. The meeting will provide a safe and friendly forum to talk with others who understand the toils of caregiving for the cognitively impaired. With questions\, please contact Ken Fairly at 601-941-5004.
