SUMMARY:Story and Song: Six Hymns that Shaped the Family of Christ
DESCRIPTION:Every family has its favorite songs. Jesus’ family is no different\, and the songs we sing together have shaped us as a church. This summer we want to spend time opening the family scrapbook\, and rejoicing in the truths behind some favorite hymns. These songs are a part of our inheritance\, and one day we will pass them on to our children. DESCRIPTION:This summer during Midweek\, we are learning the Names of God\, focusing on one name for the Lord each Wednesday night during the summer. By learning the Names of God\, our children learn what God is called\, and more importantly they learn about His character! When you are in town this summer\, we hope you will make Midweek a part of your routine. Children age 4 (by Sept. 1 2024) through the current fifth grade meet on the playground (at 5:30) following Midweek dinner (5-6)\, and our program is from 6-7 p.m. in the following locations:\n4’s and 5’s – MB 135 (Kipps’ Class)\n1st and 2nd grade – MB 133 (Tree House)\n3rd-5th grade – Hutton Chapel\n\nSchedule\n\n\nJune 11 – Yahweh\, I AM\nJune 18 – El Shaddai\, God Almighty\nJune 25 – Adonai\, Lord\, Master\nJuly 9 – The Word\nJuly 16  – High Priest\, Mediator\nJuly 23 – Alpha and Omega
